The exotic botanic trend has become popular since last year and it seems to still going strong. Catalogues of interior stores have started to showcase quite a variety of artificial plants, plant holders, plant pots. Botanic prints and patterns are also becoming popular in homeware and lifestyle products. What I like most about this style is it has a natural approach that makes the interior atmosphere fresh, with a hint of elegance and it’s quite unisex.

In this post I will cover a few exciting ideas which you can do to create a Botanic interior space :

The use of plants are quite common as it is extremely effective. The Botanic vibe comes out right away if you have a big indoor – friendly plant as an accent element. Check out here some of the plants that can purify the air around us naturally !!!

There are also a great variety of artificial plants out there if you are someone who is a business traveler  and you don’t want your plants to die when you’re away. Ikea has a lot of affordable artificial plants to choose from. 0bc1c3f91d79c0d6e6a3fd0338dbb67c

I love the look of layering different pillows of botanic print, tones of green and texture. I think it really unique and bring out the personality of the one who …. bought them. :)) sounds weird isn’t it ? But I truly believe that it is due to your own representation of mind to pick each pillow and put them together … or if you design your own prints, that’s awesome ! You are talented and I wish I could be like you ! … ( this is going to far )

Decorative frames

I saved the best for last ! Botanic decorative frames are very affordable to create and there are many ways to play around with it.

What you have to do first is browsing for some botanic or floral graphic prints.  This one by Cocorrina took my breath away for a good few seconds. When you are looking for a print, remember to choose colours and patterns that match your interior vibe, materials and finishes.

One of the creative ways to DIY your own Botanical frames are using pressing leaves and flowers. I love the airy effects that the clear frames gave.

There you go!!! Those are some of the ideas that I collected online. I hope that it was helpfull ! If any of you have done any Botanical DIY please don’t hesitate to share below.

Have an inspiring day!

      1. I also have a garden- mostly fruit bearing trees like- mango, peaches & grapes- its pretty hard to maintain-so I have left the trees to grow freely to an extent. Thanks for your time. Keep inspiring.
